Eloise L. Mackus

CEO, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Eloise Mackus is the CEO, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Central Federal Corporation and CFBank. She has been with the bank and holding company since July 2003.

Mackus formerly practiced in law firms in Connecticut and Ohio. She was the vice president and general manager of International Markets for The J. M. Smucker Company, where she had previously been assistant general counsel.

Mackus completed a Bachelor of Arts at Calvin College and a JD at the University of Akron School of Law as well as executive studies at the Graduate School of Business, Harvard University, and the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird).

Therese A. Liutkus

President, Treasurer and CFO

Terri is the President, Treasurer and CFO of Central Federal Corporation and CFBank. Before joining the bank in 2003, she was chief financial officer for First Place Financial Corporation and First Place Bank.

She has over 20 years of banking experience, primarily with First Place Financial Corp. and First Place Bank (formerly FFY Financial Corp. and FFY Bank) where her responsibilities from 1986 through 2002 ranged from internal audit and regulatory compliance, to accounting manager and Chief Financial Officer.  She managed the financial aspects of FFY’s IPO in 1992 and subsequent merger with First Place in 2000, where she continued on as CFO through 2002.   Her experience includes strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, public stock offerings, capital management, liquidity management, securities portfolio management, and financial reporting.  She began her career in public accounting, which included audits of financial institutions, real estate ventures and non-profit organizations.

Ms. Liutkus is a certified public accountant and has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Cleveland State University.

John S. Lawell

Senior Vice President Operations

John Lawell is a Senior Vice President of Operations. He joined CFBank as Assistant Vice President of Operations in March of 2004, bringing over twenty years of banking and information technology experience to the company.

Lawell’s expertise in core operating systems and in the implementation of enhanced delivery systems makes him a valuable contributor to CFBank. He began his career in Cleveland, and through a series of promotions, became an officer in nearly every institution he served.

Lawell draws on his background as a banker and technology consultant to enhance customer service and information privacy and to secure potential disaster recovery.

Nanci Dodgson

VP, Cash Management, Office Manager

Nanci Dodgson is Vice President and Office Manager of the Fairlawn office. She has been with the bank since September 2003. In her capacity, Dodgson works directly with business owners and consumers. In addition, she supervises a staff of client service managers, who are responsible for customer relationships at CFBank.

Before joining CFBank, Dodgson was vice president and manager of commercial client services for the Akron Region of Bank One. She also has extensive experience in retail banking and treasury management. She is a Certified Treasury Professional and has served on the Greater Akron Chamber’s Small Business Council Board of Directors.

The Stow resident graduated from Canyon College with a degree in Business Administration.

Kenn V. Hastings

Client Services Manager

Kenn Hastings is a Client Service Manager at CFBank. He brings nearly twenty-five years of experience in banking, finance and customer service to CFBank.

His career began in 1980 as a department supervisor with a bank in Canton, Ohio. Having worked with various financial institutions in the greater Akron-Canton area throughout his entire career, Hastings offers a great level of expertise in customer service, which spans from branch management and client services to investments and annuities.

Laura L. Martin

Assistant Secretary, Executive Assistant

Laura Martin is the Executive Assistant and the Assistant Corporate Secretary.  She joined CFBank in July 2003, bringing twenty-two years of administrative experience to the bank.  In her role as assistant, she supports the Chairman, the President, and the Board of Directors, and is responsible for administrative functions in the Fairlawn office.

Prior to joining CFBank, Laura spent thirteen years as an Executive Assistant to the President of Bank One for the Akron region.  She began her career as a member of the secretarial training program at Goodyear International Corporation in Akron, and later assisted the former Vice Chairman of BF Goodrich after his retirement.  Laura attended the University of Akron.

Laura has three adult children and resides in Barberton with her husband Alan.

Shelly A. Morrow

Assistant VP, Commercial Loan Operations

Operations Department of CFBank. She has been with the Bank since May, 2004 and has been in the Commercial Banking Industry for 18 years.

Since joining the Bank in 2004, Shelly was instrumental in establishing policies and procedures to streamline the efficiency of commercial loan operations.

Shelly is a graduate from Bryant and Stratton Business College and lives in Middleburg Heights.

Keith D. Anderson

Credit Officer

Keith Anderson is Credit Officer of CFBank. Keith’s experience in Commercial Credit Analysis began in 1980 when he joined BancOhio National Bank, which subsequently was purchased by National City Bank, where he worked until 1993. At that time, Keith was the Assistant Manager of the Credit Department, supervising the staff of Credit Analysts.

In 1993 Keith became the Senior Credit Officer of Summit Bank, based in Akron, Ohio, and remained there until the Bank was sold to First Merit Bank in 1999. Keith remained at First Merit as a Business Banking Officer until he joined Champaign Bank (Akron office) as the Senior Credit Officer later in 1999. He remained at Champaign Bank until he joined CFBank in June 2005.

Keith is a graduate of the University of Akron, and lives in Stow with his wife and two sons.

Timothy R. Fitzwater

Senior Commercial Lender

Timothy R. Fitzwater joined CFBank in May, 2010, as Manager of Commercial Banking.  Prior to joining CFBank, he had been retired for four years after a 36 year career with National City Bank (now PNC).  He joined National City in 1969 as a Management Trainee after graduation from Bowling Green State University, where he received a B.S. degree in General Business.  After two years in the Management Training Program, he joined the branch system where he managed the Strongsville, Ohio office for seven years.  In 1979 he joined the Metropolitan Lending Division in downtown Cleveland as a Commercial Lender.  In 1983, he transferred to National City’s Akron, Ohio bank as Manager of Commercial and Retail Lending.  In 1987 he was promoted to Executive Vice President and Manager of Corporate Banking.  Then in 1997 he was named President of the Northeast Region headquartered in Akron, encompassing the cities of Akron, Canton, Youngstown, Niles, Warren, and some smaller cities along the Ohio River.  The region had approximately $3 billion in assets and a commercial lending portfolio of approximately $1 billion.  Functionally, he remained in charge of Corporate Banking, with oversight of other customer related divisions, including Retail, Dealer Sales, and the Private Client Group.  He remained in that position until retiring in 2006.
